Evol Intent - Flipside (Bad District Remix)

I featured these guys on my show this week and I've done some more digging. These guys are heavy!! Can't wait to hear more from Bad District. 

Evol Intent Recordings introduces Bad District: a new force in heavy drum and bass blasting out of Eastern Europe. Bad District consists of three solo artists based in the Ukraine and Russia: Markham, Delimark, and Agnostetics. The guys initially met each other from DJ-ing on the Neuropunk podcasts (where they also met collaborator SVJ). They solidified the project after getting Evol Intent's attention for making a stand- out bootleg remix of their classic 'Flipside.' The guys list Rawtekk, Black Sun Empire, Evol Intent, The Upbeats, Noisia, and Teebee as influences, which comes through in the moody intros/breakdowns as well as the blistering drops. The 'Bad District' name is for the group's concept of a fantastic, dystopian universe where the group members fight for survival against alien invaders, subjects which are apparent in the other- worldly sound design and heavy musical themes.
